Standing block
A standing block will change the pallets properties. It is a smart construction which is well suited for thinner wooden dimensions. A standing block will increase the compressive strength by 7 times due to the wooden fibers of the block will be standing.
For high demanding applications where the high of the pallets is crucial a standing block is suitable whereas the block will always be exactly sawn before mounting to secure the correct height of the pallet.

Clinched nails
Clinching the nails is a crucial aspect regarding the pallet’s strength. It is also a safety measure to eliminate tear damage. We clinch all of our nails that do not binds together with a block. A clinch is a kind of riveting/anchoring of the nail where the nails is bent along the underside of the board. Clinched nails increase the pallet’s tensile strength considerably and make it possible to use the pallet for a longer time.

Phased corners

The phased corners make it possible to pack the goods on the pallet with a plastic film overlapping the pallet. The phasing will make sure that the plastic film will not tear apart. The phased corners will also provide other functions such as an increased handling in tight spaces or areas.

The phasing makes it easier for the forks of the forklift to enter the pallet without damaging the board. We are able to do advance sawing and phasing for specific application I order to guarantee a specific property and handling function for the pallet during its use.

All our pallets are treated accordingly to ISPM-15 (HT) and Kiln Dried (KD). The treatment means that we will take phytosanitary measurements (Heat Treatment) that will kill insects and plant pest as well as we dry the wood to low moisture content.
Usually, we dry the wood to a moisture content of 16 %. It’s generally a lower moisture content than what the marked usually offer. By drying to lower moisture content, we can guarantee products that last a long time with great resistance to mold.

Sometimes it is more suitable to band the pallets together in order to guarantee a safe delivery. The banding is most suitable för smaller and lighter pallets than can easily move during transportation. Banded pallets will always be delivered in straight and stable formations.

The transportation and delivery of the pallets can be more efficient with double pallet stacking whereas more pallets will fit in the same area. It will both be more efficient and a sustainable transportation due to less air being transported. The double stacked pallets will also need less space in your storage.
